Chief Nursing Officer, Academic Market
University Hospitals
I fell in love with nursing before I fully understood what it meant—around the same time I first learned to read. Whenever I discovered a story that featured a nurse, I returned to it again and again, drawn to the quiet strength and compassion woven into those pages. That early spark stayed with me, guiding me toward a career rooted in purpose.
My passion for leadership emerged later, shaped by a growing determination to remove barriers that stand between patients, families, and the care they deserve. What began as a desire to “fix what’s broken” evolved into a deeper commitment to creating environments where care can truly thrive.
Today, as a Chief Nursing Officer, I remain grounded in that original calling while looking forward—focused on advancing care through evidence-based practice, nursing research, and innovation, and continually striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
