Job Description & Qualifications
The Connor Integrative Health Network (CIHN) is seeking a growth oriented Chiropractic Physician who will work to build the acceptance, utilization and integration of chiropractic services within University Hospitals. This individual will spend the majority of his or her time in direct patient care.
What You Will Do
- Practicing Chiropractor
   ◦ Perform safe and effective chiropractic care on patients while following nationally recognized best practice standards.
   ◦ Maintain and follow standard quality, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
   ◦ Formulate, recommend, and clearly communicate a treatment plan for each patient.
   ◦ Consider Western medical procedures in health assessment, health care team communication, and referrals.
   ◦ Maintain detailed and complete records of health care plans, treatments and prognoses, and utilize system wide EMR for all patient records.
   ◦ Monitor patient health progress for constant assessment of techniques and procedures needed for optimal health.
   ◦ Refer to other CIHN and UH providers, modalities, and classes when clinically appropriate.
   ◦ Support CIHN research efforts as appropriate. - Business Development
   ◦ Meet with targeted providers and provider groups at University Hospitals to enhance their understanding, acceptance, and utilization of chiropractic services.
   ◦ Represent CIHN chiropractic services at community and University Hospitals events to increase public awareness, visibility, and patient interest.

- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- Graduated from an accredited Chiropractic College or University with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. (Required)
Work Experience
- 1+ years of experience treating a diverse patient population and a chiropractic skill set that enables them to provide a multidimensional approach to patient care. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to present and market chiropractic services to medical providers, business, and community leaders. (Required proficiency)
- Unrestricted license to practice Chiropractic in the State of Ohio (Required proficiency)
- Never declared ineligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid or any other Federal healthcare program (Required proficiency)
- This individual must have a clear understanding of evidence based procedures that should be incorporated into services offered by an academic medical center. (Required proficiency)
- Able to utilize EMR for charting and all patient records. (Required proficiency)
- Skills in public speaking, customer service, promoting chiropractic services, and maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction. (Required proficiency)
