Work autonomously or in collaboration with physicians to provide vital patient services in settings such as Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care.

UH is committed to supporting our new Advanced Practice Providers as they advance on their career journey. That’s why we developed the ThriveAP™ training program—a 46-week comprehensive teaching and mentoring initiative designed to support both clinical and professional development. This program offers specialty-focused classes in areas such as cardiology, critical care, family medicine, geriatrics, hospital medicine, oncology, pediatrics, psych mental health, urgent care, and women’s health.
