Position Summary/Essential Duties:

UH Connor Whole Health is seeking a highly motivated intern to serve as the research assistant for research projects and initiatives throughout the department.

Essential Duties:

Recruit and/or interview study subjects
Travel to different locations to collect data as needed
Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
Manage and reply to project-related correspondence
Provide flexible administrative support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge:

Ability to work independently but know when to seek help
Sophisticated interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information and to interact at all levels of the organization
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when concerns arise
Prior experience handling research responsibilities, preferred

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

High degree of technical proficiency on Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed
Proven written, research, analytical and oral communication skills

Education/Expertise:

B.A. or B.S. degree required with a strong record of academic achievement

Position Details/Preferred Qualifications:

Must have strong computer, written, oral, and analytic skills. Previous research experience is strongly preferred. The position is for 20 hours per week and will work within the structure of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm – based on business needs.
