Please familiarize yourself with the units below so you can make the most informed decision when choosing your unit to shadow in:

1. SDU: Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit.
   1. 20 private bed unit that focuses on providing care for patients that are cardiac, vascular and all other intermediate level of care patients, such as respiratory, neurology, and sepsis.
2. 3 North: Acute Care Telemetry
   1. Med/Surg/Tele, 30 beds. Care for higher acuity patients that have a longer length of stay. Strong focus on stroke patients.
3. 3 South: Acute Care and Observation Unit
   1. 33 beds, all private. Care for patients requiring observation or treatment for various medical and surgical conditions.
4. Ortho: Orthopedic, Spine, Surgical Department
   1. 26 beds staffed based on surgical volumes, acuity, and census. All private rooms with walk-in bathrooms. 6 telemetry beds. Total Joint Program.
5. MICU: Medical Intensive Care Unit
   1. 15 bed unit. Care for patients experiencing medical, surgical, cardiovascular, and neurologic diagnoses. Patients are managed by the critical care medicine team with 24/7 provider coverage.
6. Emergency Department:
   1. 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Center with an average daily census of 110 patients per day. Have 2 trauma rooms and a super track area. Stroke Certified, Chest Pain Accredited, offer Obstetric Services and Behavioral Health preferred facility. Pediatric Emergency Med Physician available 7 days a week.
